Job Title/ Role: Solution Architect – AMS (Application Maintenance and Support)

SBU/SL :Wipro Enterprise Futuring / Enterprise Apps 

Job Summary:

AMS Solution Architect is required to build solutions for various opportunities for our customers spanning businesses such as Finance, Retail, Energy, Insurance, Manufacturing, etc and cross geographies - Americas, Europe and APMEA. Engagements may range from small, mid and large critical programs for all Business Unit’s. As a consultant/architect, you are responsible building solutions and processes for customer’s requirements across the Cloud and Digital platforms.You are responsible for End-to-end management of the deal pursuit process from qualification to closure including solution strategy & design, estimation and commercial modelling, solution presentations, pricing, and contract negotiations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role would be responsible for end-to-end ownership of large deals from qualification to closure. (This is not Bid manager role)

  • Understand customer's business requirements and create appropriate value proposition using Wipro offerings across service lines to drive the RFx response.
  • Expert in Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) proposals including estimations and levers for cost optimization.
  • Proficient knowledge of ticket analysis, various operating models, team structure, SLAs/KPIs , SOWs and governance.
  • Well versed with automation and operational transformation for both AMS and AD.
  • Good knowledge of AMS trends like DevOps, SRE concepts.
  • Design ownership of end to end solution to develop the solution blueprint including transformation roadmap.
  • Front end solution defense discussions with customer and drive the offshore customer visits as a part of deal pursuit.
  • Coordinate with multiple stake holders of the RFP’s like other applicable practices (eg. Infra), sales and delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts as required for Solution requirements.
  • Prepare Bid Response / Proposals
  • Hands on experience of creating good slide pack and well written word documents
  • Integrate solution spanning across multiple service lines / technologies to bring in uniformity and consistency
  • Continuously work on deal differentiators and strategies that will help the team in increasing the win ratio and prepare specific silver bullets against key competitors.
  • Make presentations to customer and internal stakeholders on the solution
  • Closely work with Sales team and focus on the targets
  • Effective Sales / Presales handover in the event of Order
  • Readiness to Travel

     

Experience Required

  • Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience building solutions for Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) RFPs/RFIs.
  • Min 5 year’s experienceacross Pre-Sales, AMS solutions, Consulting, Program Management roles with sufficient Global exposure
  • Min 3 years of experience in digital and cloud transformation opportunities / programs
  • Orals /Solution defence / Customer presentation experience is must
  • Good knowledge about AI/ ML, and embedding the same in value proposition
  • Cross industry, functional and domain experience cutting across geographies is preferred
