What You'll Be Doing: • Lead the hardware electronics design and development process for aerospace projects. • Design and implement high-reliability electronic systems, including PCBs, embedded systems, and power electronics. • Conduct component selection, schematic design, and PCB layout to meet aerospace standards and requirements. • Coordinate with layout engineers to oversee PCB layout activities. • Perform detailed analysis, simulation, thermal management and testing of electronic circuits and systems. • Capture and analyze requirements for power supply design projects. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and testing phases. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including DO-254 and DO-178C. • Utilize knowledge of DO-160/ MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461 Qualification tests to ensure hardware compliance with aerospace testing standards. • Proficiency in tools and software for PCB design (e.g., DxDesigner, Mentor Graphics, CR5000). • Conduct lab testing, including designing test equipment and writing/executing test procedures/scripts for engineering. • Check out/DVT and production sublevel testing. What We Are Looking For: • Power supply design, including magnetics design, EMI filter design. • Knowledge of EMI/EMC and Military power requirements such as MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461. • Thermal management of power components and various topologies, both isolated and non-isolated with 10 KW +. • Work experience of 8+ years is required for this role
