Program Director is a critical role that has a direct impact on our large complex deal stabilization. In this role, the person will not only own the successful transition of large programs from pursuit to delivery, but also help in stabilizing them over a period of 3 6 months. Candidate profile The candidate must possess strong delivery and operational skills with extreme attention to detail towards operational and commercial metrics of program execution. This is a customer facing role, so the ability to interact with senior stakeholders in the customer organization is a must. The candidate must have 18 25 years of experience within any top tier IT service provider as delivery partner or senior program manager, must have worked across various delivery functions and needs to have reasonable exposure to deal pursuit and sales. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor¿s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master¿s Degree or relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, etc.) and multi domain experience are a plus. The candidate is expected to have: ¿ Proven experience as an IT Program/ Delivery Manager or in a similar leadership role. ¿ Strong understanding of IT project management, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies. ¿ Excellent leadership and people management skills. ¿ Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. ¿ Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities. ¿ Proficiency in project management software and tools. ¿ Proficiency in reporting and related tools ¿ Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the IT field ¿ Versatility and flexibility in a constantly evolving environment. ¿Ability to get up to speed quickly on an opportunity. Exposure to new age skills including GenAI, ML, Big Data, Cybersecurity etc. is a definite plus. Job Description: This role consists of inbound responsibilities of ¿ working with internal cross functional/tower delivery teams ¿ as well as outbound responsibilities, interacting with customers, executing go to market strategy and commercial disciplining. The candidates are expected to: ¿ Lead and manage the end to end delivery of complex IT setups post deal wins, ensuring right metrices for Day 0 Delivery with strict adherence to established timelines, budget, and quality standards. ¿ Work across cross functional towers and lead a high performing team of project/delivery managers, technical experts, and support staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members, fostering a collaborative and results driven culture. ¿ Collaborate with all internal & external stakeholders, and team members to align delivery with program objectives. ¿ Identify and engage relevant stakeholders, including project teams, end users, business owners, and senior management. Facilitate communication and manage expectations to ensure a smooth delivery and BAU process. ¿ Provide regular updates to project stakeholders and management on the status of the program. ¿ Identify potential risks and issues related to the transformation process and develop mitigation strategies. ¿ Establish the right level of metrics, management dashboards, track performance, and conduct regular reviews to identify areas for improvement. ¿ Optimize resource allocation across projects, ensuring the right mix of skills and expertise to meet program objectives. Monitor and manage resource capacity and workload to ensure efficient project execution. ¿ Create and maintain documentation related to the transformation process, including plans, procedures, and progress reports. ¿ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Other details: ¿ This role can be at any of the Tech Mahindra locations within or outside India. ¿ Moderate to frequent travel may be required. ¿ Working across time zones, long hours as per the need is required.
