Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

· 8–10 years of professional experience in ETL development and data integration.

· Hands-on expertise in at least one major ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage).

· Strong SQL skills, with experience in performance tuning and complex queries.

· Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and data

warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

· Strong understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), normalization, and metadata

management.

· Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.


Roles & Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and optimize complex ETL workflows using tools like Informatica, Talend,

DataStage, SSIS, or equivalent.

· Build robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (structured

and unstructured).

· Develop and maintain data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores.

· Work closely with data architects to implement scalable and reusable ETL solutions aligned with

architectural standards.

· Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality. · Tune ETL processes for optimal performance and efficiency. · Monitor daily ETL processes, identify failures, and resolve issues in a timely manner. · Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment processes. · Collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. · Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are upheld.

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

· Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-based ETL tools (e.g., AWS

Glue, Azure Data Factory).

· Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting for automation.

· Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

· Exposure to real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming) is a plus.

Base salary range:
$100000 to $135000 per year
