ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a technical full-stack architect/manager – Product Engineering who blends product 
leadership with software engineering depth and delivery ownership to lead the evolution of Tata 
Play Binge and its White Label offerings. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to 
manage product lifecycle, technical delivery, code quality oversight, and feature velocity for OTT 
front-end and back-end systems.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Ownership & Strategy
• Own and drive the product roadmap for Tata Play Binge and White Label platforms.
• Define and translate product requirements into detailed PRDs, wireframes, and sprint￾ready stories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, telco/media clients, and end-users to shape 
scalable OTT features across platforms.
Software Delivery Management
• Lead software development and agile delivery cycles across Web, Mobile, Smart TV, and 
STB platforms.
• Create solution design covering the current problem statements and future needs, review 
source code to ensure best practices are followed.
• Technically analyse and groom all CRs/user stories covering FE and BE changes.
• Oversee timely and quality delivery in coordination with engineering, QA, design, and 
release management teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks across product timelines and technical dependencies.
Technical Leadership
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot, debug, and validate code for 
production issues.
• Review solution architecture and design decisions across services (Node.js, Java, MongoDB, 
MySql DB), front-end (React, Angular, React Native), and native apps (iOS, Android, WebOS, 
Tizen).

• Drive adoption of CI/CD, observability, containerization (Docker/K8s), and performance 
monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience on Docker containerisation, setting up/managing Kubernetes 
clusters, creating and deploying microservices, measuring resources health and optimizing 
designs, creating, maintaining, scaling APIs.

designs, creating, maintaining, scaling 
APIs
• Experience working with STB, Smart TV, 
or multi-platform OTT ecosystems is 
highly preferred.
• Good understanding of full-stack 
development (Node.js, Python, Java, 
React, Angular, Kotlin, Swift).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms 
(AWS/GCP/Azure), microservices, REST 
APIs, GraphQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
• Hands-on debugging skills and comfort 
working with logs, backend APIs, and 
network traces.
• Exposure to analytics tools (Mixpanel, 
Firebase, BigQuery) and agile delivery 
tools (Jira, Confluence).
EDUCATION B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
PREFERRED 
EXPERIENCE
8–12 years of experience in product management or software 
engineering, with at least 3–5 years in OTT/Media/Entertainment 
domain
