The Role :

Working alongside Mendix developers, Lead Developers, Business Analysts and Consultants, you will have an opportunity to Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Mendix-based applications across multiple projects. This team support thousands of internal users and external customers using Mendix applications and have build a wide portfolio of Mendix solutions from significant digital transformation initiative. There will be no shortage of varied and interesting project to build and stretch your Mendix skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Mendix-based applications across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into detailed application designs and Mendix model structures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed in low-code development.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce Mendix standards to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Integrate Mendix solutions with other enterprise systems and APIs, ensuring seamless functionality and data flow.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues in Mendix applications.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification.
• Experience in Mendix application development, including architect role.
• Deep knowledge of the Mendix platform, including microflows, pages, entities, and deployment models.
• Strong expertise in integrating Mendix with third-party systems using REST, SOAP APIs, or OData.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Mendix Studio Pro's advanced features like workflows, native mobile development, and offline capabilities.
• Knowledge of database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Hands-on experience with Mendix Marketplace components and reusable modules.
• Knowledge of custom widgets and JavaScript/Java integrations in Mendix.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Mendix deployment strategies.
• Experience of working with customers in Aerospace and/or Manufacturing industry.
