Skill: Environment Management/Support Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
  • Environment support - care and feeding of the new environments, technical environment level 1 support, automation of repeatable functions, monitoring, alerting; scheduling of change windows, release management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental regulations, principles, and technologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve environmental problems.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage environmental projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make informed decisions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Environment support - care and feeding of the new environments, technical environment level 1 support, automation of repeatable functions, monitoring, alerting; scheduling of change windows, release management.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and policies, including air, water, and waste management.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks, including potential liabilities. 
  • EMS Support: Develop, implement, and maintain an EMS to identify, control, and reduce environmental impacts. 
  • Sustainability: Promote and support the integration of sustainable practices into operations. 
  • Reporting: Prepare technical reports, documentation, and submissions for regulatory agencies. 
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to address environmental concerns and implement solutions. 
  • Monitoring and Auditing: Monitor environmental performance, conduct audits, and track compliance. 
  • Training and Education: Provide training and support to employees on environmental issues and procedures.
Salary Range - $90,000-$120,000 a year
